בג’ ניסן תשע”ד הלך חברינו היקר מר יוסף אוני לעולמו. סיום המסכת דלהלן התרחש כמה שבועות אחרי זה, באסיפת החצי־שנתית של ועידת הרבנים האורתודוקסים דמדינת אשכנז. שתהיה לנשמתו עליה.
